Dancing With the Stars’ Sees Another Contestant Bite the Dust During Disney Week (Video)

‘Dancing With the Stars’ Sees Another Contestant Bite the Dust During Disney Week (Video)

(Spoiler alert: Please do not read on if you haven't watched Monday's episode of "Dancing With the Stars.")
There was a new face on "Dancing With the Stars" Monday as Zendaya acted as a guest judge.
The Disney Channel star was an apt addition for Disney Week, airing on Disney-owned channel ABC.
But don't expect the Mickey Mouse theme to make it any easier on the contestants, however, as another one inevitably for sent packing.

Clinton and allies attack Sanders on gun control ahead of N.Y. primary

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton laughs as she listens to Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.) speak on a gun control panel in Port Washington, N.Y., on April 11.
PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. – In a sign of the Democratic presidential race’s escalating negativity ahead of the New York primary, Hillary Clinton staged a campaign event here Monday centered entirely on gun control to drive home a sharp contrast with rival Bernie Sanders.

Trump says Rubio, Kasich, others are possible cabinet material

Donald Trump in Rochester, N.Y., on April 10, 2016.

Donald Trump says his campaign is about to head in a more congenial direction - and he might even name some of his rivals to his cabinet.
“Yes. I like Marco Rubio. Yeah. I could,” Trump told USA TODAY about a possible spot in his administration. “There are people I have in mind in terms of vice president. I just haven’t told anybody names. ... I do like Marco. I do like (John) Kasich. … I like (Scott) Walker actually in a lot of ways. I hit him very hard. ... But I’ve always liked him. There are people I like, but I don’t think they like me because I have hit them hard.”

U.S. limits training in Ukraine to avoid provoking Russia in the region

Ukrainian servicemembers practice with a drone during their training near Mariupol, Ukraine.

WASHINGTON — The White House has boosted aid for Ukrainian forces battling Russian-backed separatists but limits training to mainly defensive tactics, triggering criticism the policy is too cautious to blunt President Vladimir Putin's aggressive moves in the region.
The United States recently turned down Ukraine's request for sniper training for its armed forces because that is considered an offensive skill. The U.S. policy is aimed at teaching defensive skills in order to avoid escalating the conflict.

Frustrated refugee in Germany sets fire to his new home, police say

Firefighters battle flames after a fire broke out in an accommodation for asylum seekers in Winsen, Germany, 10 April 2016. A 17-year-old resident presumably ignited the fire in the dormitory of the building, local police said.

When a house used to shelter refugees was burned down in an arson attack last week, there seemed to be no doubt about the motives behind it. Someone had sprayed a swastika on one of the house's walls, which made investigators believe that they were dealing with right-wing extremism. Local politicians in the city of Bingen were shocked and immediately set up a pro-refugee march to advocate for tolerance.

That was before a Syrian refugee — an inhabitant of the house — reportedly confessed to the crime.
According to police, the 26-year-old had lived in the house for more than half a year and wanted to express his dissatisfaction with the accommodations, which he described as cramped. He has since been jailed, as investigators search for explanations and evidence.
A similar scene played out in the town of Winsen in the eastern German state of Lower Saxony on Sunday. There, a 17-year-old allegedly set on fire an asylum center where he and more than 20 others lived. Nobody was injured in the attack.
Both incidents are likely to fuel anti-refugee tensions in Germany, which have risen since Chancellor Angela Merkel decided to open the borders for Syrian refugees in the fall. More than 1 million people arrived in the country last year alone.
Although the number of daily arrivals has significantly decreased in recent months, the fallout continues to shape German politics. The Alternative für Deutschland party celebrated major successes in regional state elections and is the third most popular party on a national level, according to polls.
The two main traditional political parties — Merkel's Christian Democrats and the Social Democrats — have lost public support as a consequence. On Monday, the Social Democratic prime minister of the western German state of  Rhineland-Palatinate, Malu Dreyer, was quick to condemn the attack in Bingen but defended blaming right-wing extremists for the crime last week.
"At first, there were many indications for a xenophobic crime. I am all the more surprised that the attacker is a refugee," Dreyer was quoted as saying.
Last year, more than 200 asylum centers were set on fire, according to an analysis by German weekly Die Zeit. Right-wing extremists committed most of those crimes.

Rescuers try to find skiers stuck on Alaska glacier for days

Bear Glacier is visible in Resurrection Cove, Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, in Seward, Alaska.
stuck on an Alaska glacier for three days and were forced to dig snow caves after ferocious wind and heavy snow shredded their tent.
The weather cleared enough to allow an Alaska Air National Guard helicopter to land at the base of Bear Glacier. The crew was waiting for a break in blowing snow and low clouds to fly higher up the mountain to look for the pair.
Jennifer Neyman, 36, and Christopher Hanna, 45, both of Soldotna, have been stranded since Friday in the Harding Ice Field on the Kenai Peninsula, south of Anchorage.
An airplane dropped them off for a day trip in the largest ice field entirely within U.S. boundaries and could not return that night because of foul weather.
Neyman and Hanna were able to communicate with a cellphone and by satellite text messages. They told friends they spent the first night in the tent they carried until wind and snow destroyed it Saturday.
They dug snow caves for shelter but reported they were running low on provisions.
Storms kept away rescuers from two agencies who tried to reach the ice field Sunday.
The Air National Guard was trying again Monday with a Pave Hawk helicopter carrying four rescuers and a C-130 airplane.
Satellite coordinates indicated Neyman and Hanna were on 13-mile-long Bear Glacier at an elevation of about 4,300 feet.
Reaching the skiers by ground was not possible because of the weather and terrain, officials said.
The Harding Ice Field covers 700 square miles of Alaska's Kenai Mountains in glacier ice, according to the National Park Service. It is home to more than 30 glaciers.

Jose Mourinho pictured with Anthony Joshua after IBF Heavyweight title win

Jose Mourinho was at the O2 arena to see British-Nigerian Anthony Joshua (real names Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua) claim the IBF Heavyweight crown from Charles Martin inside two rounds. The Portuguese then surprisingly waited patiently in the queue of well wishers  to congratulate him on becoming the new IBF heavyweight king.

“Jose was watching the build-up and then decided, all of a sudden, he wanted a ticket last-minute,” said Joshua.

“They managed to get him a seat and I met him afterwards.

“I’ve met him before and he remembered me. We had a good five-minute chat. I respect him. We were in the changing room and he’s a cool guy. He just congratulated me. There were some good faces there. I saw Jess Ennis, too.”

Boxing Promoter Eddie Hearn was shocked when he saw Mourinho and says his presence shows how big Joshua is becoming.

“We didn’t even know he was coming,” said the Matchroom Sport MD. “He just rocked up at half-six at the Arena and started texting people to get in.

“He then queued up at the changing room to meet him. AJ is a massive star. He is the new figurehead of British boxing.”
