Looking good as usual, Mr. Darcy!
Colin Firth walked the Cannes red carpet looking noticeably slimmer on Monday.
The star, who will reprise his role as Marc Darcy in the upcoming Bridget Jones's Baby, posed for photos alongside his wife, Livia, at the premiere of Cannes favorite Loving.
Firth fit in with the glamour of Cannes in a sharp black tuxedo, with his weight loss apparent in his face.
With Bridget Jones's Baby in post-production and set to arrive in theaters in fall 2016, Firth has just one movie on the docket, the sequel to 2015's hit, The Kingsman.
Firth played secret agent Harry Hart, a mentor to the younger agents, but he was (spoiler!) shot point-blank in the head at the end of the movie. Co-star Taron Egerton, however, shared a mysterious message on Twitter last month, however, suggesting that Firth's character will indeed be back.
"Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated," the photo says, with Hart's signature glasses overtop. "A message from an old friend," Egerton adds in the caption.Perhaps Firth is getting in fighting shape for the sequel to go toe-to-toe with new co-star (and possessor of insane abs) Channing Tatum.
